I know how you feel. I have been feeling the same way, and my friend (that was pregnant with her first child the same time as me) just had her second baby. Her first, a girl, is 21 months and she was born just 11 days after my son. My husband and I have been wanting another baby, and even though we were not due right together, I thought I would be pregnant before my friend's son was born in July, but it hasn't happened yet. But when I see her newborn baby boy and when I see other newborns, I feel so ready to have another one! I try not to think about it and enjoy our son, who is almost 2, and I know that it will happen in God's perfect timing. I would like to have a girl, too, but I would also like another boy, just as long as it's a healthy baby, that is what we are praying for. I think it is just a natural thing for women to get "baby fever" when they feel ready for a child and they begin to notice other babies and long for one of their own. I have heard of many women doing what you are doing.

i can totally get where ur comin from boys are awesome, but girl are just special in their own way....

I am feeling the itch to have another one too. My friend Nichole is pregnant and due in December which dosen't help either. We have planned to wait until our daughter is 3 to start trying again and we are still sticking to that plan. We figure Morgann will be a little more self sufficient and we are really enjoying our time with her. As far as the sex of the baby, I wanted a boy the first time but I enjoy having a girl so much I want another one. It took my husband a bit of time to warm up to having another one, just give him some time you have plenty of it. I had my first at 32 so time is not exactly on my side, but at 20 you can relax a little. good luck with your decision.

Hi! I on't think you're being selfish at all! I'm an only child because my mum never wanted more children and all theough my life she's always asking if i would've liked siblings, i always said no to her allthough i really did , (allthough i formed a great relationship with my cousin instead.) Anyway, unlike my mum i'va always wanted a big family. At first i wanted 2 girls but then it changed to 3. I ddin't really want a boy then but whrn my little cousin (a boy) was born i didn't mind. Now i'd love 2 or 3 girls and a boy, but i know i'd love boys or girls all the same, it's just my preference. You're young enough to have plenty more children if you wanted to. I'd say enjoy your time with your little one for a while and wait until your hubby is sure he's ready for more children then do it! Good luck!
