my mil is like the epitome of evil. I don't think anyone has ever made me want to become so violent, even with medication.

So far she hasn't started trying to tell me how to raise my daughter, but then again we're only six weeks into it. During the pregnancy though, I had to listen to hear tel me it was okay to smoke and drink caffeine or alcohol during pregnancy, I quit for the pregnancy and I think it pissed her off because she didn't even attempt to quit with her kids. Then I had to hear about her child being two weeks old, and sleeping for 12 hours at a time, with no in between feedings, which I don't know if she was drunk and just didn't listen to the cries or what, but I've never heard of that. And on top of it, she told me to feed my daughter 2% cows milk, because thats what she did. Unbelievable, I'm surprised her children survived.

Also during the labor, she had to be present. Which she decided to tell me I couldn't be in labor because I wasn't crying, so obviously it didn't hurt, granted I've broken bones, dislocated tons of joints and had more sprains than I can remember with barely even a grunt, but because she cried during labor I should be too. I got nubain, not so much for the pain, but in hopes that it would make me more docile, and not so eager to strangle her, which the fact that I got something pissed her off. She was pissed because I wouldn't let her watch the dr do my exams, and then she was pissed because she couldn't be in the room when I had her. And after I had Falyn (my daughter) she had the gall to tell me its only $50 to change her name later on, this from a woman who named her son damien, after the omen came out. And then she told me Falyn looked nothing like me, which in actuality, she looks nothing like her father. She did other stuff too, but I don't want to rant to much about because it still pisses me off.

Anyways, she's now decided that she is going to do things I tell her not to do, behind my back. Like kissing her, which I know isn't a big deal to most people, but thats how my cousin got cold sores when she was little, so I'm really wierd about it, plus its cold and flu season, and the woman doesn't wash her hands after using the bathroom, god only knows whats been in her mouth. Then she decided that she should get to watch her (over my cold dead body) because it isn't fair that only my mother gets to, but in the defense of that my mother never let one of her children roll off the couch and land on the floor. And she doesn't want to use my duaghter's name, because she doesn't like it, so instead she calls Falyn, her baby, even though I pushed her out.

I just all around despise the woman. This is the deepest loathing I think I have ever felt for another human being. If I have to spend any more time with her, and she continues to do it, next time I will either beat her to submission with a stick, or verbally rip her apart until she bursts into tears, probably the second one, it won't be pretty, but it will make me feel better, and hopefully get her to leave me alone. I think if I raise my daughter the way my mother raised her children, I will be doing a lot better than that woman ever managed.

my mother-in-law well what can i say.she is 79 (had my hubby late in life)we were liveing with her until a got pregnent she wanted us there due to bad curcumstances anyways even though we lived with her when we told her i was preg she kicked me out and hasnt asked anything about the baby, she already has 9 granchildren and 3 great granchildren, It im expecting her only sons first child and he is the youngest of 4 wasnt expecting her to be exstatic but a little intrest would have been nice

I hate my inlaws but I need to say that she has never told us how to raise our son hell she didnt even know how to raise her kids and so didnt do a good job of it! And now Im suffering from it! Thanks MIL for screwing up your son and not raising him right now im have to deal with the way he is and work around it!
My son is 18 months old and she has only seen him twice in his whole life. Once when he was born and the other at only three months! She is a flake! She has old my husband that she is gonna come see us and it gets him so happy then she bails out on him at the last minute. She only lives an hour away but still makes no effort! She is a bad mom She doesnt call she ignores my hubbys phone calls she doesnt even call on his b-day! she is a freakin pot head that Im happy to not have her over!
But bottom line if you feel a certain way like you think they are trying to take control or you just plainly think they are missing out then say it to them!

not mine but my cousin her Mother IN Law Is nuts! She calls everyday like 30 times a day tries to take the kids all the time she like tells my cousin everyday that she is going to take the kids from her and her * the mother in law* and Scott * my cousins hubby* are going to raise them. Shes psyco her kids are horrible shes a hypercondriac * i'm sure that is mispelt* she takes her girls to the ER like once a week last month it was because of an in grown hair! When she watches the kids , which is not very often, when we get home the kids are a disaster along with the house and shes like asleep or sitting watching tv. A disgusting slob...shes crazy! New Years Eve she left 15 msgs on my cousins voicemail insulting my cousin, me , and the rest of our family and threatned us all... However when Scott hears about it all he flips out on my cousin and he will cuss his mother horribly She can barely take care of herself and her own kids and then she tries to tell my cousin hosw to raise her 2 kids. its been chaos I'm so ready to get back to florida away from this drama!

My Mother-in-Law loved to tell how huge I was when I was pregnant and that she didn't start showing until after 6mo. She also loved make comments about my maternity clothes. I was considering stopping working a weed or two before the baby was supposed to come and of course she had to tell me how she worked right up until delivery with all three of her pregnancies.

Lets see what else. I was wrong to wake Morgann up to feed her. I was feeding her to much and she was fat. I was starving her by only feeding breastmilk. I needed to start feeding her cereal at 2 mo. She pressured me into feeding formula. I was stupid for measuring out her solid foods and for documenting what she ate. She was constantly telling me Morgann was sick like her father was when he was a baby.

We got into it one day when she decided to leave me in a lurch and with out daycare becasue I wrote her a note asking her, you no I don't even remember what I asked her. Of couse that ended up for the best because Morgann has much better daycare now. And I don't have to see my mother-in-law everyday, woo hoo.

Well she is not my mother in law or my mother but my mothers friend used to always tell me that I shouldn't feed my children three times a day cause they are too young and when I put them in the naughty corner she either takes them out too early and gives tham chocolate or hits MY OWN CHILDREN!!!! And than she gives out to me!
I didn't like it at all but the best way to deal with it is gnore her and if that doesn't work than just tell her to f***k off!
