I don't think it's right to pierce a babies ears. I think you should wait until she is responcible enought to earn and take of them herself.

My family tradition is to get your ears pierced when you start your period. So me and my younger sis were both 12 when we got our ears pierced. I'm denfiinity going to do it when I have my kids.

I think it can look good on some young girls, mainly indian, but i don't like the idea of really young babies getting there ears pierced. I'm a bit of a traditionist.

My pediatrician pierced mine when I was six weeks old and have always been told that its better cuz then little babies can't pull on them and you are in control of when they're cleaned and a little baby can't fight you like a toddler can, and most of the time, will.
I was 12 when I got my second hole in each ear and I was irresponsible (tugging cuz of irritation and not cleaning them correctly) and they got infected. But It taught me a good lesson cuz a year later when I got my belly done, I went overboard and that one never got infected and I had it til i was five months pregnant (boy that seems like a long time ago)
I'll be getting Bella's done at the pediatrician's office. No scary guys with tats and holes in their noses for her. lol. I've dealt with those guys enough. lol

I think it's a horrible idea to have your babues ears pierced. What's wrong with getting them done when they're older? I was annoyed at my mum for not letting me have them done when i was little, and so I wasn't allowed it done untill i was 9. But I don't see why you should do it to your children. Why not wait untill they'r eold enough to ask and make the decision yourself.
