I just read this story in a magazine about a mum who lost her twin girls at 7 mnths gestation adn she set up a group with another mum who lost her daughter too. They are called the Teddy Love Club and they give teddies to mums that lose there babies. They say they hardest part was leaving the hospital with empty arms... Here is the poem they give to every grieving family with their bears.

An angel in the book of life wrote down your baby's birth and whispered as he closed the book, 'Too beautiful for this earth' We know that nothing can ever take away your pain or mend your broken heart. This teddy has been sent to you from another bereaved family who wants you to know you're not alone. We truly hope this teddy brings you some comfort to ease the pain of leaving the hospital with empty arms.

That poem is soooooo sweet. I love the "Too beautiful for this earth" part..

WOW, that is so nice to do that for others. I love that mothers can share their experiences and try to turn a very emotional time into a nice way to grieve for others going through the same thing..

im sorry , i see what they are trying to do, it just seems, i dunno... wrong..
"sorry about ur baby, heres a stuffed toy, that u can look at and remember the most painful moment of your life, a toy ur baby will never play with"..
seems a little thoughtless to me..
yeah sure its a sweet poem, but if that was me i wouldnt be in any mood for teddy bears..
