MamaTinkerBell - i know what mean i know some really good young mums and i know some damn shitty ones. and i agree with the not knowing what type of mother we'll be its just something we had to wait and see about thats what annoys me when everyone young mum says im gonna be a good mum well you dont know that even a 30 year old gets shitty and cant handle a baby crying and fussing.

My biggest fear right now is that I won't be a good mom. I mean I have had plenty of practice and have raised other peoples kids but this is different. Just cuz you're a great babysitter doesn't mean that you will be a great mom cuz you can't give your own kid back at the end of the night when you're tired. I can only hope that I live up to seaasons or other people's example and be a great mom.

Holy cow, how much of this am I going to see in highschool? I mean, I know one girl who says she had a baby, but this is the same girl the said she wrote Stupid Cupid, but... wow.

Now I'm wondering how many of my friends will end up with kids in the next four years. I KNOW I won't, but I have a couple friends who are less... dilligent than me.

Or use protection? I really don't get why there are so many teen mothers on your side of the Atlantic, why everyone seems so eager to have children, why everyone has children? Over here it's quite unusual that women have children while they're under the age of 30... But I don't think they have less sex than you guys What could be the explanation..? I'm thinking perhaps failed sex ed over there? Or has it got something to do with the abortion debate? Or perhaps motherhood is somehow more expected and anticipated from society and has more of an achievement-air about it than it does here. Not that parenthood is not important here, but I sense that our respective countries have different mentalities...

Hey, I'm Sairah and I am Kenley's mom. I think Kenley has matured a whole lot these past five months, she literally is changing. I was upset when she told me she was pregnant, but I'm getting better with it because she is maturing, she's growing up, she's more responsible, she's settling down, etc..

She hasn't screwed herself over, either. She has a ton of friends and family support and help. She will do just fine. Noo matter her age. It's just a number. I had my first daughter when I was eighteen, a freshman in college. The father (my husband) was eighteen, and already HAD a baby with someone else. We did just fine, and I didn't have family support at all! Barely any from friends either. Kenley is very lucky. I'm not saying teen pregnancy is always okay, cause it isn't. I'm not saying Kenley will be a perfect mom, because she won't. Nobody is perfect in any way what so ever. However, I do know that she will be the best mom she can possibly be. Because she is a great girl, she has her family and she has her friends to get her through this, because it won't be easy. And I know she can make it work.

& just because she made a baby, does not mean she can take sole care of it. All the time people make babies and can't take care of them, but accidents happen. Get the hell over it. I would never kick any of my children out. NO matter what. Because I love my daughters no matter what they say or do. Always<3.
