Well he kind of had to tell me and my mom that just in case something happens to him (he's in the military) but I still wish he hadn't said anything.

Pretty much everything by evanescence is good, they're probably one of my favorite bands, but I really like Amy Lee's overly dramatic type of songs, and she has a nice voice although on the albums its obviously filtered, but she's still a great singer.

I forgot all about Gone Away by offspring, I haven't heard that song in so long. The last time I heard it was about an hour after my friend's funeral about 6 years ago, they were playing it on the radio. It was on the radio after my grandpa's funeral too, I don't know if the station just had good timing or what, but I haven't been able to listen to it since my grandpa's funeral.

I'm not a big fan of country music either (hate with a passion is fitting) unfortunately the place I used to work at played it on tuesdays and thursdays, so I had to listen to it since we weren't allowed headphones. Its always fun to burst into tears at work....everyone look there's a sobbing pregnant lady...it just plain sucks

Gone Away was played at the reception after my brothers funeral. he was 21 when he died, and it just seemed like the right thing.
