Re:Xrated Movies By Sydney Raye 3 Years Ago I would not let my child watch X rated movies but I do let her watch R rated movies within reason If I watch it she does. she is mature for her age 10 and realizes the difference between reality and fiction, but again it all depends on the child.

Re:Xrated Movies By MaMa Tink 3 Years Ago like some of the other girls, i grew up that if my parents watched it I watched it. And seeing IT at 4 yrs old has given me the right to be terrified of clowns for the rest of my life...
Siayne doesn't watch anything over G with me. (she 6 btw) Almost everything she watches is animated. The only exception is on Discovery Health cuz she wants to watch the baby shows cuz she's very excited about Bella. They blur out parts that need not be seen on national television and she gets educated about things that can go wrong and she asks me lots of questions if she recognizes a word or phrase I've said about my pregnancy. Now, that being said I try to encourage her to play outside more than sitting in front of the tv. Though thats difficult with the cold weather. But she plays with the dogs and I can usually get my parents to take her to the woods for a little bit on most days since I've been banned from the 4-wheelers I may, as she grows and depending on her maturity level, let her watch more mature movies but we saw the xrated Sarah Marshall and even I thought they went a little too far... There are some things that I could have gone without seeing.

Re:Xrated Movies By KysMommy 2 Years, 11 Months Ago Absolutely NOT! When I was younger, 13, we used to sneak and watch them at my girlfriend's house and actually I thought it was pretty disgusting. Kids should be just that, kids.
However, now as an adult, I could probably open my own store at my house.

QUOTE: Yeah, I saw It when I was 5 and I'm still scared of clowns. And I also grew up watching what my parents watched, although I think its different letting a 14 year old watch an R movie compared to letting an 8 year old watch an R movie. At 14, if my child was mature, yes I would let them watch R movies.
