Re:Public/Private Schooling

I went to both private and public school. In my opinion i think public is better. But it really depends what the public schools are like in your town, if they are bad then i would go with private. But if they are very good like mine was(it was ranked 3 in the country)then i would defiantly go with public. Another benefit of public is that most of their friends will live locally.

Private. The kids won't like it as much, but if they've never been to public school they won't miss out. Better education at a private school.

I would rather be in public school, but I must grudgingly admit that private schools are better.

I do agree with you in some sense but I first went to private school and it was awful the teachers weren't nerely as good as they were in my public school. I feel the public schools have much more diverse classes and people. I feel my education was a lot better at public, i ave always struggled in math since I did not learn properly in my private school, once i got to highschool i felt a lot better with it after spending 5, 6, 7 and 8th grade in a public school. But what it really comes down is the schools in your area

and they go to public school...
it is a culturally diverse school with many different nationalities, so they not only earn ABC's and math, but they learn cultural acceptance, non segregation & individuality..
yes public schools may be under funded, but they are more passionate, about the students, about the community and about the world,
i just got Zebs report card from schoo yesterday, and it was ALL A's & B's and all high acheivments!!
i have no probs inpublic school, u just have to teach ur kids to love learning... the school is irrelevent....

I agree with you i went to a public school all my family did and we are all fine it depends on if the school is in a good area and stuff but i found the teachers where nicer and more open to what you find easier to learn with eg different ways of learning maths but its up to you as there parents go to all the schools and talk to the principles and get tours and pick the one you like best

i go to a private school, and i have since i was in second grade, and the teachers expect more from you because most kids that go there are richh or have money, well my grandma pays for me and my sister kayyliegh, and my sister lizzi my dad pays for, it doesn't cost as much for me and kayyliegh and lizzi now that we play sports, its based on a scholarship, i would say private school would prolly be the best , it taught me responsibility.
