My daughter is 14 and is beginning her freshman year.I feel she is not ready, but I do admit I haven't given her much rope in life I never even let her spend the night at her grandma's house .Should I let this slide???

About the Grandmother thing well my mom has a history don't think I'm weird or something.

I'm only 17 my self but I had my first boyfriend when I was 11 I know I was young but I realised that I was to young. I think that 14 is a good age to start dating but just tell her that you wont be very happy if you found out that she was having sex at 14 or if she came home and told you that she was pregnant.

Well if she wants to spend a night at her grandma's house then I think you should let her cause then she will feel that she's being allowed to do stuff now she's growing up. Ask her if she wants to stay at he grandma's house and if she does then just let her stay for one night and see how it goes.

I am not a mum yet (but I'm a god mother to my best friends son and he thinks I will make a good mum) but that's just my view on it and I you don't like it that isn't my fault cause everyone has there own opinions.

well I first had sex when I was 14 I loved it then and I still love it now
