For me it is, I am very mature for my age Plus me and my mother have the best relationship and she and my bf are very close too so everything has been talked out and stuff. I don't know, I guess it depends on everyones different situations and the way that they react and handle things...

But perhaps that emotional baggage could have something to do with societies views on "loose" girls. I doubt that the stone age girls, who (in order to secure the survival of their/our species) fell pregnant at the biologically most suitable time in their lives (in their teens) were walking around with all that emotional baggage. Simply because the society they lived in expected, and hence accepted, their sexual habits Just my theory.

LovesBabies, you seem to be a very reasonable person who is sure about what she wants and I really admire that I think that you are right to some extent as well. Some guys, but definitely not all of them, only want one thing. If you don't want to have sex with someone just to have sex, then you absolutely shouldn't. This goes for both guys and girls of course. I would never ever say that someone should go ahead and sleep around if that's not what they desire to do :O But my point is more that there are actually girls as well who only want one thing at the moment. And that is to have sex with someone, because they take physical pleasure from it. And those girls should not have to be disrespected or told to do otherwise just because they actually pay that attention to their own lust and desire and take what they want

I think it depends on a person. My niece, for example, is 16. She started dating when she was 14. She didn't have sex with anybody, which I am completely sure. She thinks that she is still too young for having sex. I admire that, her mother even more, . But, unlike Klara, a lot of her friends have have sex in early age, 13, 14 or even twelve. To me, that is really young. Lots of them don't know how to spell their names correctly yet, and they have sex... But, that's just my opinion.

Good thing then you don't have to be able to spell to be able to feel lust and take physical pleasure from sex. Sex should be had for one reason only: Because you feel like and enjoy it. It should not be because someone tells you to do it, or because you feel obliged. It should not not be because someone tells you to avoid it or because of your lacking spelling abilities
