I have a similar situation that you are in. My son will be 3 this year, and hasn't seen his sperm donar since he was 5 months old. I left him though, because I couldn't take the abuse anymore and I didn't want a guy like that raising any child of mine. My boyfriend that I have now loves my son to death, Denin who hardly even talks started calling my boyfriend Daddy on the fourth of July. It was the first word he has said that he keeps repeating and only says it when he is looking at Jessie, my boyfriend. Jessie and I are now expecting a new addition to our little family, we plan on getting married soon, and Denin and Jessie can't be seperated when we are all together. Denin's sperm donar is not in the picture at all, and I have already made the plan that when he is older, I will tell him who he is (meaning name and last known address) give him the option of going there to meet him, and let him decide what he wants to think of his sperm donar that wants nothing to do with him.

I think u should not wprry about that right now,u have 2 much other stuff go n on.If ur x has always been there, than there is no reason 4 that 2 change. But,I do think u&x should tell ur dau.2gethr when u do,that way ur x can let her kno that he's always been fine with b n her dad. Please don't do it until she has completed school. My mom made that mistake & told my sister b4 she graduated high sch.& she coulnt handle it & dropoed out!Children don't need any xtra pressures when gro n up,lifes hard enuf!Just wait, that's my advice. It will turn out ok!! :]
