My son did until he was about 12, it was tough and he so wanted to spend the night at friends homes but never could. There isn't really anything that can help. Just has to out grow it. There is medication that a doctor can prescribe that might help.

One thing with my eldest cos he wet the bed til he was 5, was I figured out too it was the way I dealt with the wet bed... Sometimes he wouldn't tell me he had wet the bed cos he would get dressed before I got up of a morning and would make his bed and when I would tuck him in the next night his bed would stink and I would get so angry and then I realised that he was so embarrassed to tell me til I told him I am not angry he had wet the bed I was just upset that I didn't get the chance to put clean sheets on the bed and he was going to sleep in a stinky bed and when he knew for certain I was angry at the bed wetting itself he almost overnight stopped..... I just put his bed wetting down to the fact that I did it as a kid... I used to actually dream aswell that I was sitting on the toilet at night and only after I had started going I could feel the wettness and wake up.... But like I said I was a child with some emotional issues as a kid but maybe he is doing the same, maybe he is thinking at the time he is peeing that he really is on the toilet cos it was so real for me....

one thing you ,just do s NOT to make a big deal about it... the bigger u make it.. the worse he will feel and that exasserbates the problem,
Bert is 6 and he still occasionally does it, especially if hes cold.. so meake sure hes warm ...

I have that same issue with the dream still to this day. Though I have been able to wake myself up from the dream before the bed wetting starts, the last time I actually wet the bed, and this is honestly very embarrassing , I was in my late teens. I blame the dream, but I also had not gone to the bathroom before going to bed that night, and had been under loads of stress recently.
