September 11, 2001. By Celianne 2 Years, 5 Months Ago On this exact day, at 8:00 AM, I walked into my first grade classroom. My house was right across the street, so I'd spent the extra fifteen minutes on the playground, goofing off and talking to my friends. When the bell rang to call everyone inside, nothing was wrong. I was a laughing, happy first grader. We all stood outside, and unlike most days, the door was immediately opened.
The TV in the room was on, and I could see the two flaming buildings on the screen. William, a boy in the class, saw the screen, and immediately said, 'Whoa. That's so cool!'. My teacher immediately shushed him with a firm, 'It's not cool.' And that's what I remember. My whole memory of that day is my first grade teacher saying that the action-movie-like scene on the TV was not cool. It was not something to watch and enjoy. It was something to watch, and understand. Watch, and listen. Watch, and remember. I know that I'm posting this late. but I came home tonight at 8:00 and my dad was watching the re-run of the news feed. And here I sit, with my whole family, watching it again, feeling like it's real and happening right now. Eight years later, I am still in shock.

Re:September 11, 2001. By Bexie_08 2 Years, 5 Months Ago I was asleep. The phone rang and it was my husband. He told me that a plane had flown into the WTC and I should turn on the news. At this point, we all still thought it was a horrible accident. I was actually watching as plane #2 came in.
As I sat there watching all of this,, I actually saw someone jump from the building just as this shower of sparks started to fall, and I watched in horror as the building fell.

Re:September 11, 2001. By Emily_G 2 Years, 5 Months Ago I was a sophomore in High School, English class. Didn't have school for the rest of the day. I mean, we had to physically be in school, but all we talked about in all of our periods was this event.

Re:September 11, 2001. By AlyssaShayne 2 Years, 5 Months Ago I was in the third grade and I don't remember when I found out, all I remember is being downstairs at my mawmaw's house and watching the tv and they were cleaning up the mess. I was only a little kid, I just knew something bad happened. If it happened this year when I'm older, I would just be in horror and shock. It would definately effect me more know that I can really understand about what happened.

Re:September 11, 2001. By Tess 2 Years, 5 Months Ago I was 10 years old and in the sixth grade. I was alone at home in that day watching tv and eating my lunch. I was shocked with that and I looked at the tv to see if was an movie or the news and it WAS REALLY THE NEWS. I call my mom at work to tell her and she came home. then I went to school (cause in that day classes only started in the afternoon) and everyone in school was talking about that.
everyone was shocked and sad with that. this affect the whole world. I live in Portugal.
