Gia could be a nn. I went to school w/a girl and her name was Gia...not a nn. But you can use however you'd like. I'm not even pregnant and coming up w/names w/my hubby is a train wreck. He's from VA and likes old names and I'm from NJ and like modernish names. OI VEY! LOL

Oh, Evelyn was my Grandmother's name, but I don't know how I feel about the nickname Eve - comes with too much Biblical baggage IMO.
