I think it sounds too masculine for a girl as a first name myself. I would be worried about that. But Im into really girly names. I would give her a feminine forst anme and use it as a middle to balance it out. You can use a first name that is similar to andrew or that starts with AN like

Anelise Hunter
Adeline Hunter
Angelie Hunter
Audrey Hunter
Addie Hunter
Andra Hunter?

I am so sorry about your husband. I couldn't imagine how you must be feeling. It would be so sweet to name your baby girl after him. I knew a little girl once named Hunter, so I think it's fine for a girl. Or you could use it for a middle name, too, if you wanted to. I know when your baby gets here, you will be able to look at her and she will always be a sweet reminder of your husband.
