Cyndi again (I signed up) You can totally steal Coral! It just means someone else may be named for my mom. You almost made me cry saying I almost made you cry. Bunch of crybabies! Thank you so much for saying that. I dont think I am any more than me, so it is nice to hear good things :^)

I have to say I am the way I am because of my mom. She is my hero and not too many people can say their mom is their best friend.

Here is another tear jerker story about my name (you will also have to think of that picking out your names too since it can make a huge impact! My God son is named for a soap opera star and my mom got him an autographed pic just becaus of that)

The reason my mom settled on Cynthia is because when she was preg w/ me there were no such things as sonagrams, only guesses and she was told I was a boy, no girls names were ever decided. When I was born and she found out I was a girl she didnt know what to call me. She actually only saw me for a moment then I was taken away to the nursery. She didnt even hold me. Then she was taken to her room whell all hell broke loose. A code blue was called in the nursery as she was being wheeled in. They left her on the gurney in the door way and ran. SHe was stuck because of a saddle block (like an epidural but lasts longer so she couldnt get up) They returned a while later and put her to bed telling her that the code blue was for the mother in the next bed's baby, he died. They were trying to find her husband before telling her. Hours passed and much drama too, the lady knew what a code blue was because she was a nurse and knew her baby had some serious problems. Everyone was talking in circles to her and not telling her the truth. She finally said "Would someone tell me if my son is dead?" They did. He was and then for some stupid reason left her!!!!! My mom was all alone with her in the room, but couldnt see her because of the curtian. Remember that this is hours later and she still hasnt seen me, my family and no one knows what is happening. My mom said through the curtian " I would get up and hug you but I am stuck" The lady opened the curtian and actually apoligized to my mom!! She knew because of her I couldnt be brought in. She asked about me and what did my mom have and what was my name? Mom didnt have one. Then this awesome woman pulled out a name book, sat on the edge of the bed and went through it with my mom. She found Cynthia that way and remembered a Playboy Bunny named Cyndee she liked. So this lady in the horrible aftermath of loosing her child took the time to be with my mom who was all alone too, to help name me.

I still cry to this day (like now as I write this) almost 34 years later and wonder where this woman is. She probably doesnt even know what an impact she had on my life. I find this an amazing and special story that I am so proud to tell! No one has a better one in my opinion. I want to someday tell my children about the selflessness that is around and that the world has angels living among us! I would hope someday I can have that impact on someone.

i think you should give a baby a name that YOU think is special. not because a celebrity did it first. if it happens to be the same ok but make sure your doing it for your own reasons.

You have a BIG warm and golden heart. Don't ever feel embaressed to show it! I just don't know what to say to you, I'm still kind of shocked. Somebody may be thinking right now, that "hey , those are just words" but Cyndi, they weren't just words to me. That was the most beautiful thing nobody has ever said to me!
Anyway, I was really touched by your naming story, it really proves, that here's angels among us, just like you said.
Cyndi, (like I said earlier) you are a great person, and your future kids (and hopefully your daughter, the beautiful Coral Rose ) are going to have a fantastic mom, who is always there, and who really cares about them. That's what I think, I feel that in my heart! I'm forever thankful to you.

Well I believe we have a mutual admiration society going! But I thank you too. and need to stock up on kleenex.
Sometimes a chance encounter can change your life for the better! Of course we can keep in touch. I have a myspace and I am always online, anoyingly so, I am addicted! I have a need to talk, even if no one is listening at all. I find it a way to get my thoughts in order. It is even nicer to know that sometimes someone listens too. My hope is that the good people out weigh the bad and I know karma will take care of the rest.
I really mean the comment about your age too.
I know from my own experience that age is just a number and people discount opinions and thoughts of the young. I have learned some great things and ideas from kids. Out of the mouths of babes and all. I was treated with resepect and love and taught early on that I mattered and my thoughts mattered. I was blessed to get that kind of suppport. I believe that if we dont listen and learn and teach everyone we meet, who then is going to teach the ones after? Learn the things and pass them along?

One last thing though. No matter what anyone says to you or about you, only you can make it true. It is easier to believe the bad, but so much richer to go for the good!!! Know your own truth and live it. I do hope someday to share that with my children. If I cant I will be blessed to know that I passed it on to someone who will then share it too. Only one person is needed to change the world if it is passed on to one and one and one.

I really like your "ideaworld", I by myself have same kind of thoughts. And that life wisdom, what you wrote on last (Live life well Alina and it will treat you the same) was wonderful, and I told that to my best friend and she was like "wow, that's actually true and so reasonable". I think that too, and that is definetly an aphorism, what I'm going to follow my whole life!
Do you believe on destiny?
I do believe that there can be something kind of "imaginative" what's got something great for every one of us (even just a little). Everything happens for a reason, that's what I think

I totally believe in destiny. Because there have been time in my life that I though "why me?" only to understand the why later and know even if it was a bad experience it taught me something I needed to learn. But I also believe we shape our destiny as well. Usually we are faced with options, it is the decisions we make that put us on paths.


BTW GOOD WORD!(my boyfriend and I say that a lot to each other) aphorism I mean. I had to look it up :^) I am a word smith and words fascinate me. Most people just think I am trying to act smart or make them feel dumb if I use too many "big" words. What they don't realize is I don't even know I am using a big word, they are are beautiful and have a place, or they wouldn't exist right? Funny thing is I was terrible in school, but now if I want to learn it I study like crazy!

I also believe in Karma. I personally have instant, so I try to live life on the straight and narrow. Why would I want to hurt someone? it only bite me in the ass worse lol.
I speak my truth (sometimes it get me in trouble) and I encourage others to do the same.
You keep up with your thoughts, ideas and dreams and I bet you go far in life!!!! Like I said before I do sense an old soul, and one I recognize too :^)
