Re:somethings a little fishy... By Nonny 7 Months Ago Give the benefit of the doubt. There are hundreds of multiple births, especially twin births occurring today. Just take a look at how many celebrities have had twins. Why wouldn't the general population of age bearing women also have an increase of multiple births? We all can and do make typing mistakes. I agree the misspelled words and incorrect grammar are evident in some of the postings but that does not invalidate them. It isn't only the very young that make them. While the word 'unexperienced' (sorry GN, no offense intended) should correctly be written as 'inexperienced', doesn't mean I disregard the message or the messenger. There are college graduates that can't spell. I worked for a doctor who spelled buttocks 'buttox' and argued his spelling was correct. Only when he dragged out a dictionary did he reluctantly admit his mistake. Just one of many examples I could give you. Those posting here are still expressing a desire for guidance and help and that is what I hope they receive. All bogus posters using this forum have my deepest sympathy! If this is their idea of entertainment, they really need help of quite another sort. Last Edit: 2008/05/05 09:32 By Nonny.

Re:somethings a little fishy... By happy2bme 7 Months Ago No, we're talking about kids that are 14, 15, 16...saying they are having multiples, and so many of them saying it.
I don't doubt at all, though, a 12, 13 or 14 year old being pregnant. 16 is not some magical age that girls start getting pregnant. I got my period right after I turned 11 years old, and I've heard of girls getting it younger than that, like at 9 and 10. So it is very possible for girls that young to get pregnant, and in our day and time, it's even more possible with what kids are learning from the wrong places and what alot of parents don't know they're doing so early. Sad, but true. I just heard of a 7th grader yesterday that goes to school in our town that is pregnant. What age is that? About 12 or 13.

Re:somethings a little fishy... By happy2bme 7 Months Ago When I said kids having multiples, I meant more than twins...like having 5 and 6 at a time. That does seem unusual. Twins do seem to be more common today, but 5 and 6 at a time? Possible, I guess, but seems very unusual (for teens). But I wouldn't tell someone on here that they are lying about being pregnant unless I knew it for sure, and I don't think we really have any way of knowing it for sure.

By Jenna 7 Months Ago I think some of this is totally right! Don't you often hear about people having sexuplets on the news!?! It isn't a regular occurence so...ya?
And about people not writing proper... I mean who does now a days? Like on msn and stuff! I don't write properly if I am tired! Whatever! But I mean lots of people are like... hey I am 12 and I am having a kid! Like how many kids even have sex at that age? Most often it is 16,17,18 year olds that have kids! Whatever... that is my take! Anything over twins I have a hard time believing... well actually I believe triplets because my brother has them but yeah... Gotta see it to believe it type of thing!
