Glad to hear your son is feeling better. Please don't think I was suggesting that your son had a developement problem! I was just putting it out there because my professor had mentioned it as a possible issue w/the girl I babysit. It sounds like your son is doing great w/speech communication. My 14 month old is talking up a storm and we are loving every minute of it. He loves to say "hot", along w/about 30 other words, but 'hot' is definately his favorite. I taught him 'hot' one day when I was using the oven, but he uses it appropriately for things I wouldn't think he would even know... such as the exam table at my doctors office that has a light switch on the end of it.. it is labled 'Caution Hot'. Tristan had only seen it one other time, and my husband and I told him not to touch it because it is hot - the next month I went there again for another OB check and he ran and pointed right to the light and said "hot" and shook his head 'no no'. They are amazing!
