By Login 2 Years, 2 Months Ago if you use this site you can put in a year and find out what the most popular names were that way you can use the 1000th name so the child will know some one with the same name but not 200 of them

Re:Your tips for naming a baby By Writer2be 2 Years, 1 Month Ago I don't think it matters about the meaning--my name is Alexa and it means "Protecter of Men" and my friends used to make fun of me for it but that was only for an hour before it got old. I have derived a better meaning from that--"Protecter of Mankind". I think with all names there is a good meaning if you think about it or look into it more. I think if the name sounds right and it can suite a person in all stages of their lives, it is good. No matter what others say, it is your choice, so as long as you and the father agree, it is the perfect name.

Re:Your tips for naming a baby By Alisamber 2 Years, 1 Month Ago That's funny, NamesLover and Writer2be! I've sort of gone back and forth before in my mind on these two points. I agree with both, but ultimately, very few people really know the meanings of a lot of names. It won't matter really in dealing with other people, because they just won't know. And even if the child takes offense at a bad meaning, I think a lot of parents just say they loved the sound and look of the name so much and knew not many people would know the meaning so they didn't worry about it. Or that they were named after someone special or something.

Re:Your tips for naming a baby By Writer2be 2 Years, 1 Month Ago Yeah.
Both of my names mean "bad" things-according to my name I am a bitter protecter of men. Wow, thanks Mom and Dad. JK I actually love my name, and would willingly give my daughter the same middle name. If you want the name to mean something, that's up to you, but if you like the name choose it no matter what the meaning. Not many people come around asking you the meaning of your name

By jinlee 2 Years, 1 Month Ago I think when naming your child should be a fun and exciting thing to do. But anymore it's becoming a task. Tho I believe when naming your child you should be sure as you can be because let's face it, it will be with you and them for the rest of thier life!
That is why I think my mother wasn't all together there when she named me, and I know this because I haven't ever heard my name before. JINCY NELLA.....whoa what a name! But as I got older and the more it has been said, the better I like it because it is as unique as you can get!!!
