There's a jelly inside that makes them absorbent, but it keeps showing up in the nappy area. Try a different brand, or if it just started then maybe its just a faulty lot. The gel beads in the diaper are non toxic so they aren't dangerous to your baby. I had the same problem with them!! I switched to Pampers Swaddlers and the Pampers Cruisers. Good luck!! We tried Huggies and didn't like them as well as the others.
