This is a very controversial topic that makes people highly emotional. I think everyone is entitled to their opinion. I also have known and realize there are people out there who use abortion as a form of birth control, which is beyond wrong. However, for those women who don't take the decision of abortion lightly. The women who spend their entire lives suffering with the choice they felt they had to make for whatever reason. For those women I must step up and say that until you have walked in their shoes and faced the situation from their point of view under whatever circumstances they deal with, then you have no right to judge. Each woman has her own story and until it is heard then a general judgement shouldn't be made. Would I ever have an abortion? My answer is no, it's not a choice I could live with, but thank god I have never been in a place in my life to have to make that decision. But for the grace of God go I.

No, abortion is not just another form of birth control. It is taking a baby's life. A baby is a baby from conception. If you are a Christian, it says so in God's word, the Bible. It is not up to us to decide whether or not a human being should live or die. It is not a "woman's right" to do whatever, it is another person inside of her, and a baby has a right to live.

One other thing I would like to add: not only does the Bible say it, but there is also scientific evidence that life begins at conception. I look at my son, and I think, what if I had felt abortion was just another form of birth control? I couldn't imagine having done something like that to him. I also know of someone who was going to take the morning after pill one time and didn't; if she had, she would not have her son today who is 37 years old. I think about all the couples out there who would give anything just to have a baby and can't; adoption is always an option. I think about the couple I know that just lost their full term baby girl last week (she was due to be put in to have her this week!) and they had to bury her yesterday-they are devastated. I know some people who believe in abortion only for the baby or mother's health, but I still don't think personally that it is up to me to decide something like that. But an abortion just to get rid of an unwanted pregnancy-no.

when your baby is born 13 weeks early with exposed organs and crush syndrome and you have to watch him die in horrific pain then maybe you'll think that it would have been better for him to not have to suffer that. i chose to let him live and it was horrible. i was told he had no chance to live but i wanted to give him that chance. i regret it. i would not have an abortion for selfish reasons, like money or 'wanting to be free' or some other stupid things. but if a baby is going to die an unimaginably painful death you would still want him to come into this world knowing he will have to feel that pain? i think it was more selfish of me to let him live because i wanted my baby so badly. abortion is most certainly not a form of birth control, but i cant say i would make it illegal if i had the choice. not a typical situation, but i hope it makes you think twice about stereotyping people for doing what they feel is right.

I dont care what the situation is its just plain and simple " YOU DO NOT KILL" !!!! Having an abortion is killing, yes I know people who do it for fun and I think that is so wrong and evil. If the child is having health issues and is eventually going to die I still wouldn't have an abortion because what doctors sometimes predict is not always true, That baby could be perfectly fine, but if it isnt then it will die on its own but you dont have to kill it. Give them a chance. They might prove you wrong. There are so many people out there who want kids and cannot have them and you can have them but yet you want to kill them? Consider adoption. God sees what you are doing and he sees that you are having abortions or think that its right, Things are not going to look to good for you!
