Hey Cyndi,

Thanks for your thoughts. Isabella is a lovely name. My grandmother was called Annabella, which is why my mom decided to call me Bella.

I am very young, I just turned 17. It might sounds crazy but i go to church and do believe in marriage before children. And when this happened, we knew we had to make an adult decision. We based the decision on what would be right for us. I am still neverous though but i guess thats just natural?

I love the names Lilly and Amelie, they are probably by two favorites. I'm not a fan of Molly either!...but my boyfriend is so i has to put it in there! Your mom sounds really sweet! A red, curly haired daughter would be so cute! I didn't know the meaning behind Harlow so thank you for the info.

Thanks for your reply!
Bella

Bella,

I totally understand about you having to make an adult decision. Good for you for knowing you had choicea and picking what is the right one for you both. I know all about church and the babies before marriage thing, sometimes life has another plan for you. It isnt so crazy to go to church and have something like an unplanned pregnancy happen, it happens all too often. You will be nervous even if you were 30 and happily married, a baby changes everything! Usually in a good way though.

I hope everything goes well for you all and I hope people do not give you too hard of a time, some people can be very cruel and unfair without knowing the whole story. Dont listen to people who judge you unfairly and listen to those who love and support you no matter what choices you make in your life, whether it is about your baby, school, work or what you wear. The negative people just like to make someone hurt as bad as they do.

Let me know what name you decide on and when you have your little girl, I am just too nosy :^)

Good Luck and best wishes!
Cyndi

Hello Cyndi,
Thanks for all your support. Yes, we made sure we knew what was going to be right for us before we told anyone and herd their opinions. Life has certainly shocked me recently, but i believe everything happens for a reason. So all you can realy do is sit back and enjoy the ride. Everyone keeps saying "Oh Bella, it will change your life!", and I'm sure it will. It will be a shame though not to be able to go out with all my friends spontaneously and catch a late night movie but i guess thats the sacrifice I'll make! If you don't mind me asking, do you have kids of your own?
Every now and then i get the stares and assumptions but you just can't take any of it to heart. I have a great support system at home with my mom and my boyfriends family and just wonderful too! I am so lucky, there are some girls out there really doing it so much tougher than i am. I thank God everyday for the blessing.
Thank you for you wise information! It is greatly appreciated! Although it is still in the early stages we have been looking up some names all night! At the moment for a girl we have cut it down to
Lilly Mae
Amelie
Abbie Jane

And for a boy
Brooklyn Alexander
Max Alexander
Harrison Alexander (Alexander will be his middle name as it has family importance behind it!)

I woud love to hear your suggestions!
Thanks again,
Bella

Bella,

Nope no kids yet, but that isnt for lack of wanting them one bit. Due to my life & circumstances I started late in life with dating and such. It took me awhile to find the right man to even start dreaming about my own. Even though I do not have any of my own I have had a lot of experience from newborn on up from one way to another. I even have friends that have kids that ask my advice on things so I am not just spouting untried ideas. I tend to steal my friends kids as much as possible, I love them!

I am so glad you have such support! You sound like you know what you are doing and that you understand that there will be some major changes and life will not be as care free as before. Dont forget though you will have sometimes when you can go out, just with some planning involved. You will be a mom, but dont forget to be Bella as well.

I have to say I love the Alexander part, as I have said before that is my last name. I like all three but since I was stuck with such a long name and I hate writing it out at times I am leaning more towards Max, depending on the baby's last name of course. Also check what the initials would be as well because you dont want them to be something that spells something terrible like I almost ended up with the initials BRA because my mom wanted to name me Brandy Renee. Thank goodness she checked the initials! Can you imagine that on a briefcase?

You will know the perfect name when you see your little one (I have had friends pick one then change after their baby was born), there will be one that fits them perfectly. Keep a couple of options just for that reason.

Try to keep up with school as much as you can as well. Even if it is on your own and there is no credits applied. You will have moments while you are pregnant that all you can do is sit and read, so use it to your advantage!!! Also remember that learning isnt just math and English, there are many interesting things out there to learn and since the Internet age there is a world at your fingertips.

Any time you need a friend I am here!

hi. my best friend, who is 15, is due to have a baby any day now. she is having a girl and wants to name her after celebrities. she wants to call the baby Paris Vanessa Miley Harrison. Paris after Paris Hilton, Miley after Miley Cyrus and Vanessa after Vanessa Hudgens and her last name is Harrison. I think she will regret it in a few years but i don't want to hurt her feelings. What should i do?

Hi Livelovelaugh,

Well they are all nice names, but I do know what you mean about her maybe regretting it. I really dont know how else to tell her that without some bruised feelings. If she has her heart set on those names it is her choice. You may want to tell her though to think about the baby having to some day have to learn how to write all those names and it might be tough for her to learn all that at once. One of my friends named her son after a soap opera star. I got her an autographed pic of the star so he could someday know who he was named for, maybe you could try that?

Sorry I couldnt be more help than that,
Cyndi
