puck (Visitor)   Re:children and their laundry By puck 2 Months, 3 Weeks Ago my 3 year old puts away her own laundry, and helps put dirty laundry in the washing machine (yay for front loaders). im sure this will change as teenagers are much less enthusiastic about it at than toddlers. They help with laundry and taking their plate and putting it in the dishwasher etc. I think that when they are older and out of their own they are able to clean up after themselves. When they get older they will get a few more chores to do as well.
