Yes, I didn't sue but I had her evaluated by a children's psychologist and he said I could/would have a very legimate case if I was to.

I agree with silversky32. I don't mean to make you upset, but there have been cases where babies have been severly injured and I know of one baby that was killed because of a crib that collapsed with a baby in it-it was on the news awhile back. So it definitely needs to be brought to their attention and they need to do something about it.

I agree with everyone else, I would look into complaining.
Your son was very very lucky to be okay, the next baby might not be
Something needs to be done about it, please dont brush it under the carpet!

I'd like everyone to know that we have complained to the crib company. They gave us our money back and an extra $300
for the minor injuries Tyler recieved and the doctor visit expenses. A day later, they recalled all the other cribs of that brand in our area. Not every crib like that in the country, just in our county. After doing some research, they conducted that during the cribs' cargo shipping, pieces were damaged in the truck they were shipped in. When the pieces of the cribs were put together in the factory, the wood was slightly cracked and broken. What we asked the presidents of the company was, "How is it possible that the workers in the factory didn't notice the unstable wood?" And they said quote, "The wood of the crib was damaged in an unnoticable way. It's not our employees fault this situation occured, it was simply just an honest mistake."
I find that response to be complete BS, so we talked to our lawyer and they're in the midst of discussed over what really happened.
I promise everyone that I'l keep you posted on what's going on.
Take care,
Tyler's Mommy

I think it's great that you are pursuing this. You're not only standing up for your son but all of the other babies that could be hurt as well. Good for you

Thanks silversky. It's means a lot to hear that from you. I've been P.O-ed at the crib company a lot these days, so i's nice to hear some nice and thoughtful comments.
