Just wanted to let everyone know that I couldn't wait any longer. I asked Gina to marry me last night and she said YES!!, I promised her that I would talk to her father to before anything else, but she said YES!! I'm the happiest soldier in the world. I felt kind of bad asking her over the fun so I plan on asking her again in person when I go home on leave. She said YES!!, she cried, I cried. It was a beautiful moment. She said YES!! YYYEEESSS!!!

Congradulations!!! What a wonderful thing for both of you! and u'll definately earn brownie points asking her to marry you again when you return, even though u techincally dont have to. Always great to go that extra mile for the woman u love. And while u might not feel a proposal over the phone isnt romantic enough im sure the fact that she knows you simply just couldnt wait any longer to ask her to be yours made her feel like she was on cloud nine. Thats just wonderful news!

I must also say what your doing on behalf of your country and now your new family is terrific. the world could use more selfless people like you.

Now to the business at hand... Names... I really do like the sound of Grant Allen. Very timeless, manly and classy. Of course though there is the problem with the innitals... G.A.B... not great. given his last name, Allen might be a problem when your trying to avoid spelling things with his initals, with almost any name you use. you could solve it simply by giving him a second middle name though, maybe his maternal grandfathers name or your fathers name.

Another way to honor you would be to pick out a name that has something to do with being a soldier.

St. Michael is the patron saint of soldiers so maybe Michael?
