I agree with Nonny, if its a girl spell it Everette, its muvh more feminine.

It sounds pretty, I have been hearing Hunter for girls lately and I always thought of that as a boys name. So go with it. I like what namefanatic said, give her a really feminine middle name!!!

I think it will be a very bad idea to name a baby girl Everett or Everette for that matter. Everett is very much a boysname, and your reasoning to name a possible daughter Everett is well, very superficial. So yeah, you prefer a boy over a girl. But aren't you supposed to be happy with either sex, just as long as the baby is healthy? Naming your daughter Everett won't be a satisfying solution to your want of having a son.
Please, just give your daughter a well accepted girlsname.
