I love the name Sean...its my favorite out of all the ones you have on your list. Jamee is also nice, and Casey as well except its a little feminine.
Definitely DONT do Sean Shy (sounds bad together) or Casey Dance (too feminine).
Sean Jamee sounds good, or Sean Casey.
By the way, i just noticed on your list there are names that are from his life (guy from his record label, best friend, passed away friend) but there are no names from your life, or your friends. just wanted to point that out.

Jan (pronounced like Yan but that peticular spelling is the whole point and people will always say it wrong)
Guy (but my boyfriend has a weird connection with the name Guy and it sounds too much like Gabe so...)

I like the names you like. Ryan is very nice, but if its too close to your BF then maybe use it as a middle name, that way it will be a name you like and kind of have a part of him as well.
Kalle is very nice, except I like it spelt Cale.

Ryan, Sean, Kent, Casey and Jan are names that I like from your list. From my pronounciation Gabe and Guy are nothing alike though. "Gay-b" and "G-ee" ? I also heard of Kit as a nickname for Christopher/Kristopher/etc.
