I'm 19, in college, and have a job. I've been living with my boyfriend of almost 5 years and just a few weeks ago I found out I was pregnant. My mom just asked me yesterday if the "rumor she heard was true". I told her no and that I heard it was going around. (I guess a small town will do that to you). I just feel lost and need advice. I don't believe in abortion but that's the only thing that I think will be best. I feel like it will hold me back from having a succesful life. I want kids, but this was too soon. Right now, my boyfriend and I live at his mom's and he wants to go back to his dad's and I am frustrated because I just want to be on my own without his or my parents! but how do i afford school, a baby, and a place of my own? I've wanted to be out on my own for SUCH a long time. IF ANYONE could please give me some advice I would really really appreciate it. I know a baby is a beautiful thing that I believe comes from God. But then why did he give it to me right now?

god works in mysterious ways. i thought the same thing when i became pregnant at 17. a baby doesnt ruin your chance of having a successful life. i am now 21, and we have gotten married, bought a house, my husband is apprenticing to be an electrical engineer, and im a few months away from becoming a marine engineer, which i will continue to pursue after my mat leave is done with our second child, who is 11 days old. its not impossible, it just takes a little determination.

You asked why did god give it to you right now? well I have the answer. you see god chooses the mother before the child is even concieved. There are so many couples who can give the child a really good home and want to give a child a good home but are not able to have a child of there own and would do anything in the world just to be mother. I feel like if anyone even considers aborting they need to know what they are getting themselfs into first which is why I suggest you look at the pictures on www.abortionno.org first. You also need to remember that the baby you a carrying is not just a part of you its a part of your mother,your father,your grandmother and ect. It may actually help if you do talk to your mom she will be more supportive than you think plus she will probably help and give you advice

I beleieve that everything happens for a reason. God would not give you more than you can handle. Plenty of girls your age raise children and still continue their education and go on to be successful. When I found out I was pregnant, it was a HUGE shock for my husbadn and I. I was scared and felt very unready. Now, I am 6 months, and couldn't IMAGINE not having my princess growing inside of me.

Im not in favor of an abortion. You should look into adoption. Your child deserves a chance.
