By razzled 4 Months, 2 Weeks Ago Please Please Please don't abort this baby. Abortion is NOT the answer. There are many wonderful organizations out there that can help you through this. I have many friends who are struggling to concieve right now and it kills me to think that people consider having abortions. I also have had friends who have had abortions and they continue to struggle with the decision they made, it has negatively affected their life and if they could they would go back and make a different choice.
PLEASE....do not have an abortion.

Re:I'm 19, My parents think it's just a rumor By happy2bme 4 Months, 2 Weeks Ago I agree 100% with the above comment. Please do not abort this precious baby that God has conceived. I just got back from the hospital seeing my friend's new baby boy, and he is so very sweet and precious! When you see your baby for the first time, you will be so glad you had him or her.

By Clear Perspective 4 Months, 2 Weeks Ago Hello ~
The decision you are struggling with is a difficult one and perhaps rather than trying to force another's decision on you, what you need to remember is that whatever you choose must be what is right for you, ultimately. No one else gets to decide that but you. There are many different possibilities: abortion, adoption, having the baby and keeping it. All of these are open to you - I am equally certain there are other options, which are possibilities, because there are a myriad of ways of being within this world. I encourage you to research, heavily, each of the options open to you, considering your particular circumstances, beliefs, concerns, needs. Only you know how your family will react, what you feel you can do, how much support you are likely to get from those around you. However, try not to underestimate people, closing out possibilities before you even explore them. It is worth it to find out what sorts of financial aid you might qualify for, including things like various support services: food stamps, Medicaid, Housing Assistance. These are some options, which may be open to you, especially as a single parent. Many schools have childcare facilities associated with them and accept the children of students. Some offer financial assistance for those who would not normally be able to afford childcare costs. Additionally, researching your abortion options is also important. There are many different possibilities here: everything from herbal methods: black cohosh and blue cohosh will bring on your menses, garlic in large quantities will too, although I would say that pennyroyal should be left alone as it is quite dangerous and life-threatening, to RU 486, also known as mifepristone, commonly known as the day-after pill, which can be utilized up to the 8th or 9th week, to an actual abortion procedure. Whether you choose this route or not, it is crucial to be well-informed. You may not know which choice you are going to utilize now and being well-informed will assist you in making your choice. Finally, adoption is a possibility as well; there are many different types of adoption available to people these days. Again, explore your options. As a college student, you should be used to research. This is an important decision, perhaps one of the most important you will ever make, so find out all you can. I am a single mother - not an easy thing - of a 16 year old and I have just discovered I am pregnant again, surprisingly. Even the best birth control has its limits, apparently. At any rate, confronted with the same choice you are facing now, I firmly believe that ultimately, whatever you decide is your choice alone. I happen to have chosen to keep this new one I have coming, but it will be exceedingly difficult in a number of ways. This may or may not be the choice for you. My hope is that all of this is helpful to you in some way in making your own decision. Whatever it is, do not let anyone make you feel bad regarding this. The very reason we have choices and free will is because everyone's answers/solutions are not the same. Good luck with this.

By Jessica P 4 Months, 2 Weeks Ago My advise is to have an ultrsound...
If you can still go on with an abortion after that and think it's the BEST option for you, then do what you have to do.

By Simone 4 Months, 2 Weeks Ago I found out i was pregnant 3 weeks ago and im 17 and 10 weeks gone. Im at college, i have the highest grades of my course and had a plan to set up my own photography bussiness. The news was a shock, i realised i was late, i was using contraception, obviously it didnt work.
I told my mam 2 days after and shock wasnt the word for it! She was blown away, i knew she was disapointed because she was 16 when she had me and wanted me to achieve the highest i possibly could. When i told her i wanted to keep the baby it taken her a week or two to get over the initial shock. Now, shes excited, she carnt wait! Im still going to go to college, get all my work done quicker, staying back most nights. Im not going to throw everything away, im also setting my bussiness now, which is currently going well.. Every cloud has a silver lining
