teen pregnacy is rising but i am a new mom of twin girls and they are my everything. ad some girls cant help it theygot pregnant because they were raped just like i was. It does change your life but it doesnt ruin it..

Well Jennae_L why do you think that teen pregnancies are catastrophic.

Yes I have to agree that teenage pregnancy is on the rise however I also think that some teenagers can not help getting pregnant if there are raped. I don't think that they are getting pregnant to spite their parents or whatever you may think.

I think that there are some really great teenage moms out there. I know a few teenage mom and their kids that turned out well, graduated from high school and are in college now. They have looked after their own kids, finished high school and went on to get a college education while looking after their kids.

I really don't understand what your problem is. I think you need to give teenagers a little more credit. I also think that is the teen mom was not able to look after her own child then I think that she would look into adoption or something.

Thank you so much!!! We do need more credit than we get. People dont realize for the teens that keep their children, it is alot harder for older moms in their 20s. We have to work way harder than they do!

I am the proud 24 year old mother of an 8 year old son. I have a degree and i can honestly say i am one the teen mothers who did truly well. I never even had welfare.
It is untrue that teens are child abusers as some people think. Abuse is not an age issue, it is one of the personality.
All the pregnant teens i ever met took parenting classes, child psychology classers, Lamaze, etc. Most older women dont take these classes because they think it is unnecessary. That is not true.
I think people need to understand that it is the woman, not her age, that makes the mother.

I'm a teen mother of twin girls. I love my girls and i wouldnt change anything for the world. not all teens are just getting pregnant to get pregnant. I got pregnant by accident and it helped me grow up a lot because now im just not taking care of me but two other people. Even my 15 yr old little sister has a baby and she loves her baby to death. My parents support every decision my sister and I have ever made they even wanted us to keep the babies and they didnt even care too much when they found out.
