would you buy designer baby clothes?
By DanaGirl 3 Months, 3 Weeks Ago
Well the subject basically says it all. Do you buy designer clothes for your kids? They grow out of them so quick, but some designs are just sooooo cute!! What do you think? To buy or not to buy?

PS - whats your fave brand?

Yeah, my kids were in designer clothes. When I could find them at yard sales for a couple bucks. I personally think that spending those designer prices on clothes for a child that growns out of them so quickly is ridiculous. I would rather take the extra money I saved from buying their clothing at resonably priced stores and use it on stuff that would last them a while, like play equipment like slides and swings and wagons and bikes and such.

As far as my favorite brand of designer clothing? I'd have to say Oshkosh, they have some darling bibs out there.

no way. my daughter had a very overbearing godfather up until she turned 3, and he bought her entire wardrobe pretty much. it was cute, but its not worth the $. we've put her child tax money into an account for her, and she has nearly $4000 saved up at age 3.5. much better used that way.

Not unless it is on clearance or at a consignment shop or yard sale. I never buy anything at full price, it's just too expensive when the baby outgrows it so fast. Most of the time I guess what size he will be in next year and buy things that are on clearance. My favorite baby clothes store is Carter's.

Yea, I would buy a few designer outfits but it would not be their whole entire wardrobe! You are right, they do grow out of them fast!
