No I'm not but how do you pronounce it?

While I've never heard the name AVISON before, I do think it's kind of interesting and would also go well with a lot of middle names.
Do you know why this name was used or how it came to be? I'm interested because it's unusual and the more I study it, the more I like it. - WeslyAnne

I have done some searchin and all I can find is that Avison is a surname in Scotland, and they cannot find a meaning for it.
My GUESS would be to pronounce it rhyming with Addison. But I have no real clue.
