What are the chances of getting pregnant with twins naturally?

What is more likely identical or fraternal?

Are there more BB GG or BG sets out there?

Which side of the family passes twins down (its your dads right?)

How many different sets of twins have you ever heard coming from one woman?

To be honest i ahve no idea the only thing i can say to you is taht when the doctor said my wife was pregnant with 6 chidren i was .
I know nothing about twins or anything i thought that some of them would not survive because 6 i mean 6?!
But i was wrong they are all very healthy.
Thats all i know baout twins it just happens, but the doctir said to me that if you do treatments the chances of having twins increase a lot, so twins, triplets,... are more commun on people who did treatments.

The twin gene can be mom or dad.

Twins are anywhere from 1:50 and 1:80.

Nothing above quads can be conceived naturally or else your fallopian tubes wil basicly explode...not that many eggs can drop at once.
Fraternal are more common because that's when the twin gene mostly comes into play.

The record is like 14 sets of twins and it was way back when

i know a lot about twins i am a twin and i recently gave birth to a set of identical twins. only fraternal twins run in families that is why fraternal twins are more common. you may inherit the twin gene if your mom or grandmother from your moms side had twins. twins run on both my moms side with my grandma being a twin and my dads side with 4 sets of twins. people that us ivf have a chance at having multiplies
