My husband doesn't like his fn or mn with Caleb. Neither of the grandpas names really work either. Just curious if many of you just pick names you like instead of family name for middle names? To me, it gives the name more substance and strength. My sisters and I are all named after someone, and I plan to do the same thing. I think my sisters will too. You should look deeper that just parents and grandparents. You might find some cool forgotten names. My family name are either too boring or too wierd. I have no intentions on naming any child of mine after Great-grandma Enriqueta or Uncle Rudolph or Grandpa Rufus. I did give one of daughters my name for a middle name. The new bundle of joy I'm looking forward to meeting in June will have Grandma Christina's name for a middle name.
