So, I'm in a process of thinking about a story. It is present day/reality story about a family stuff. Kind of black/bitter comedy.
I have some names but not sure about it. Could you, please, help?
Here are characters:
dad - former "rocker", frivolous, free-thinking, older (above 60 for sure), some health problems, had his kids like with 3 different women

oldest son - not really "his", he is the son of dad's former girlfriend (woman no. 2) who still takes care of dad and is his friend, dad adopted him, he always had "feelings" for the oldest daughter, around 35 years of age

oldest daughter - depressed, kind of done with world, but has a very good sense of humor, is quite quirky and drinks more than occasionally, daughter of the first wife who for some reason isn't part of the story at all (I should give this one a little think)
Light brown hair, blue eyes? Same age as the oldest son

second daughter - mom of two, middle-class wifey, she looks very content but secretly smokes cigarettes and doesn't know who she is. She is the "full" sister of the first daughter and the two have a very complicated relationship.
Dark brown hair and blue eyes? Around 30

second son - has his own business, but kind of peculiar one (I don't know yet), he thinks his dad doesn't appreciate him. He is weak but he may be the only one who doesn't have any personal problems. 25?

youngest girl - the baby of the family, a girl in her late teens. Takes care of her dad but is indifferent to their relationship. She dresses dark and has dyed hair (black). She plays it cool but she wants some love. She slowly becomes her dad's confidant and it's her who initiates her family to come together (thinking about the theme where the dad is sick with something - not a cancer!!!! )

I was thinking something unusual but not "youniq", perhaps the theme? I don't know.

dad - Dave, Thomas, Benton, Brent, Jake

oldest son - Jason, Micah, Lane, Joshua

oldest daughter - Jessie, Lisa, Kelly, Jenn

second daughter - Ashley, Marnie, Jackie, Lauren

second son - Joey, Logan, Riley, Rick, Kevin

youngest girl - Jilly, Angie, Sarah, Nicole (Nikki)

How about Pulmonary Fibrosis, NASH (Non alcoholic cirrosis of the liver), or HIV as his disease?

Thanks, Bexie, NASH is the clever idea (if it's kosher to say that about an illness.) I thought Wilson's disease or PSC, but I'm not sure.
(OMG does thinking about that stuff make me a terrible person?)
