what should i eat and do during my pregnancy??

DO'S

Take folic acid for first trimester
Take precnancy vitamins throughout pregnancy
Eat Plenty of fresh fruits and veges
Walk to keep up excersising (obvioulsy dont over do it )
Eat A good variety of calcium, iron, iodised salt, vitamins (such as vitamin C in orange juice)
Have monthly checkups with doctor or your midwife, and further along in the pregnancy go more often


DONT'S

Do not eat not so fresh foods, especially chicken
Do not eat processed foods
Do not eat raw fish or under cooked meats
Do not lift anything heavy
Do not get stressed! Try to stay stress free, or as much as possible lol

I would say ask your doc, but they are not always as helpful as they should be. Wic loves to tell you what to do an not to do, so you could go to a wic office an they can give you all kinds of info. Also take as many classes as you can, the doctors dont tell you what all your options are. I went to a preg help center an took prenatal classes an parenting class. There is all kinds of info out there an all kinds of options too. By options i mean like for how you want to have your baby. I didnt even know what a birth plan was untill i took the class.
