What to buy for twins?
By Sarah 3 Months, 1 Week Ago
As many of you know im expecting twin boys in mid october. Now that we are at the half way point my husband and i are really starting to look at the supplies we need for them. I was wondering if any mothers of mulitples could make some suggestions as to what we definately need 2 of? We know the obvious ones like cars seats and cribs but what sort of things will we probably not think of until we need a second one? what we can live with just one of but might think we needed 2 of? What type of twin stroller you you recommend? thats a big one for us. I'd really apperciate any advice and suggestions you girls have on this stuff.

I don't have multiples, buy my girls are 19 months apart and I can shed some light on the stroller. We got one of the front & back seat strollers when our second daughter was born. Loved that we could get through doors and everything fine, but it was like driving a semi. Have never used the side by side strollers. Just know that steering the front/back 2 seat stroller wasn't that easy, especially when they got a little bigger and were heavier. Hope that helps.

I don't have multiples, but I was watching the show Jon & Kate Plus 8 and they have twin girls and sextuplets and they color coordinate with their kids... each sextuplet has their own color. for example, one little girl has a red bib, red cup, red plate.. etc. so that there's no fighting over what belongs to who..

i think it's a great idea and you could do that with your boys if you'd like.. blue and green.
