The most important thing to do is to stay calm- for you AND your baby. Stress can lead to a miscarriage.

I understand your fear. I had a stillborn in July and became pregnant in December. I was 7 monthes pregnant when I lost my daughter and now I am scared out of my mind about what to do this time around. I know I didn't do anything to create my lose with my daughter but it still makes think of all the what ifs. All I can say is I have a wonderful doctor and she has told me that I call all the shots, such as if I want to hear the heartbeat on a daily basis just call and she will put me in on her lunch hour if needed. She has asked if I wanted an ultrasound before he 18th week just let her know. I think that has helped me tremendously to relax knowing that at a wim my dr. will be there for me. It won't be easy for you to stay calm and relax just remember friends are there with a ear even if they have never been through it, not to mention your dr should be as concerned as you are and willing to do whatever it takes to keep you calm. Also we are all here for you and some of us have been through similar situations and can feel the pain that you feel. Keep us all updated on the pregnancy..

i understand what your going through,about a year ago, i went through the same thing, and a year to the day oddly enough,i found out i was pregnant again. its really stressful, but like some of the girls said, your baby can feel the stress. try to stay calm and think as positive as you can! thats what i did! put your feet up, relax, eat healthy, lil bit of excersise will not only be healthy but eleminate some of the stress your feeling! good luck!!! keep your head up
