bottle help!
By blavier 2 Years, 5 Months Ago
I have a 2 year old son, who is attached to his bottle. We would like to get him off of it as soon as possible, but he is just not ready to let it go yet. Any suggestion's on how to try and get him off the bottle?

Buy him a toddler sippy cup!Try 2 find 1 that he likes(character).ex.bob the buildr, barney,Thomas the train, ect.Let him go 2 the store&pick it out himself. Don't try 2 take the bottle away just don't put as much milk n it.Put the cup where he can reach it & put the rest of the milk(or whatever he has)n the cup!Just slowly stop usn the bottle,as much.Gradually use the cup more until he's broje from it! It works,I've done it.

sounds like great advice.

I remember taking the bottle away from my kids and giving them sippy cups and just plain told them that they were too big for bottles. Or the bottle broke, now you have to use a cup. Worked for us.

switch the bottle with something that he loves , i mean tell him that if he takes his bottle away , you will give him that thing or u will take him to the place that he love , we did the same thing with my lil sister and my cousin , and it worked very well with them , so try it , i hope that it work with him too
