Isis (Visitor)   Can anyone recommend baby shoes ? By Isis 4 Months, 2 Weeks Ago can anyone recommend good baby shoes for a 1 year old? I would like something that can be worn both in the fall and in the winter (with warm socks). Obviously a baby can't say if a shoe is comfortable, so I would like something thats of a high quality. By vburgfirewife 4 Months, 2 Weeks Ago OshKosh makes a pretty good shoe. My suggestion when looking for shoes for a 1 year old, find one that is higher up on the foot/ankle area for extra support. By CariannDS 4 Months, 2 Weeks Ago I recommend a flexible shoe. A baby that is learning to walk learns best with bare feet and a stiff high-top shoe can actual hinder their ability to balance. By happy2bme 4 Months, 2 Weeks Ago We bought my son a pair of Stride Rite for his first pair of shoes. They are very flexible and he did good in them. When he outgrew them, we went to get him another pair, but they were out of stock that day so we got a pair of Jumping Jacks instead, which are supposed to be just as good. But I think I like Stride Rite better. And Stride Rite is the only shoes my children wore and we wanted our grandchildren to too. But since her feet are really wide we researched and found the weesqueak's!!!
