Hi, I haven't gone trick' or treating in 3 years, and I was invited to a haloween party this year but I don't have any ideas on what to wear can you help me?

Um, that depends, how old are you, and what kind of party is it going to be (ie: little kids, adults, teenagers, a dance, a movie marathon, etc)

I am 12 so its going to be all teenagers, and it is just going to be a whole bunch of teenagers hanging out.

Aw you havent dressed up for 3 years? Im 14 & i still dress up lol this year im going gothic because i want an excuse to wear loads of makeup What kinds of costumes do you like? or whats popular where you are?

My younger sister's fifteen years old, and she's gone trick-or-treating every year since she was three!

If it's going to be all teenagers, you could always talk to someone you know who's going, and come up with costumes of a similar theme (ie: Alice in Wonderland and the Mad-hatter), so that if someone thinks you look silly, you have someone else looking just as silly as you do.

Also, maybe you should find out what kinds of costumes other people are wearing, so that you don't show up all dressed up only to find that everyone else is just wearing everyday clothes and a mask (this happened to me at many a costume party I went to when I was younger).

When I was younger, like I said, I was embarrassed by the costumes that I wore, or that my mom thought I'd look cute in and made me wear (it happened more than once), and so I decided eventually just to stop dressing up. If I could go back in time though, I wouldn't have cared what people thought, and I would've just dressed up for the fun of it! I suggest you wear something unique, and totally you.
