By Preciosa 4 Years, 2 Months Ago
I have a list of girl names and boy names that I love, but I have to narrow down my list so I'd like opinions on which names are best for both lists:

girls:

1. Ariel Julia
2. Siena Isabel
3. Brianna Grace
4. Graciela Jazmin

boys:

1. Levi Theodor
2. Milan Eli
3. Mizael Cruz
4. Zuriel Leonardo

Siena is my fave for a girl. And Milan is my fave for a boy. I also like Milan for a girl. The other boys names are a little over the top.
I like Siena Rose.

I named my little girl Malaley Havana and some have trouble pronouncing the first name even though it is pronounced like it is spelled so we end up calling her Maley. Perhaps the most unique names no matter how beautiful they are to us the children may have problems in the future from this CRAZY world we live in. I hope that makes since. I do love Siena and Milan.

I Beg to Differ...

Hi Preciosa (a beautiful name if I ever heard one!!),

I beg to differ with the opinions voiced in the posts thus far. You obviously have a flair for finding meaningful, classic, and somewhat unusual names and name combinations(though that is not a bad thing, as some of the best names are underused, especially the ancient Hebrew names, which I see you have chosen as some of your favorites).

FOR A GIRL, my favorite of the list is definitely Graciela Jazmin. Both names are on my list of absolute favorite names for a girl, and the combination is not only beautiful but meaningful (connotes grace, beauty, sweetness or fragrance, holiness, and the sense that one with that name is beloved, precious, blessed, and worthy of honor).

I believe a child with that name would become one who respects authority, is obedient and devoted to her studies and family responsibilities, is very kind-hearted and selflessly giving towards others, and while quiet and somewhat reserved, possesses an inner confidence and faith that will inspire and uplift others. She would see the good, both in people and in the simple things in life, being a joy and a consolation to others.

FOR A BOY, I have chosen Levi Theodor as my first choice. Levi is a very powerful name for a boy and the Levites are highly revered in the Bible. Theador/Theadore is one of my top ten favorite names for a boy without question. The combination is wonderful and great for the times (connotes one who is adored, righteous, strong yet humble, blessed, and capable of leadership as well as servitude to a worthy cause).

I believe a child with that name would be well-grounded, self-disciplined, courageous, and devoted to an important social cause that he believes in with all of his heart and soul. He would be a strong yet gentle person, who is peaceful and compassionate by nature while also holding deep convictions, values, and ethics. He would have the power to make a strong impact on the world in a positive way, and would be a role model for many others. Though unassuming, he will have great leadership abilities and will possess wisdom well beyond his years.

That's just my intuitive opinion, by the way, but both name combinations are awesome.
