When i had my daughter my mom told me to give my baby water just a little every now and then.

I was told that the only reason to introduce a baby so young to water was so that when they got older and started drinking things on their own, they would not mind water. I think that is a load of BS. And I'll tell you why, my son's sperm donar's mother made me give my son water while he was an infant, and if I didn't give it to him, she would. Now he is almost three and the only way I can get him to drink water is if I mix it with his juice. He won't drink straight water.

my health visitor told me not too unless the baby is constipated but i started giving my son water when he was young and he took it really well i would give it to them in small doses just to get them used to it.
