Hi to anyone who decides to read this. I'm curently working on writing a number of stories and was looking for input on boy ar girl names along with how you would envision their owner. The names can be sensible real names or just a bunch of words strung togeather that sound good. Here are two examples:

ShadowFire - girl, 16years, old shortish average height, red and gold streaked brown hair, brown eyes, shy, responsiable personality, likes reading, dansing, music, often wears black and red, profession is a fire eater/dancer with a travelling company of performers

Colten - man, 34 years old, average height, untidy medium-long brown hair, hazel/green eyes, wears lots of greens, blues and browns, works with the company's horses and cariages, responsiable, honest, caring, likes animals, walks in the park and whittling

All of my stories take place in a fictional setting so the characters can be and do anything the imagination can think of. Any of you with young children could ask them too if you felt comfortable kids often have great ideas.

Any help at all even with out a description would be great. In particular I am looking for some hero and villan names. Also whille I don't expect any of my stories to get published I can't promise they won't so please don't give me that special name you don't want anyone to know or don't want to get miss-interpreted.

So, you're just asking for random characters? Not names for characters you've already made?

I have some groups that I know will need people for:
troupe of travelling players
king, queen, lords and ladies, their kids
some friendly thieves/bandits
an evil sorcerer and some accomplices

Here's a list of names I have so far see if it helps
Daisy - little girl
Avery - bard
Amber - fire dancer
Prince of Dreams *needs an actual name*- head of company
Star - princess of the valley of the Unknown
Royal - prince of the valley of the Unknown
Vivek - dance instructor
Erik - singer
Krista - singer

I'm throwing in a couple appearences/character relations, in case you need/want them.

Daisy: Hm... assuming this is for the troup people... 'innocent', eight-year-old contortionist, best theif the world has ever seen. Dirty blond hair, blue, green or hazel eyes, very pretty little child. Mildly maniacal(sp?).

Avery: Bouncy, can drink her/his weight with no problems, rail thin and a very good hider.

Amber: loves fire dancing(/breathing?) with a passion, makes people nervous because of how much she plays with it. Happy-suicidal. (if that makes sense...) Dark brown hair, flat brown eyes.

Prince of Dreams (Torrin Bashker-random name suggestion): Calm, quiet, has a temper, very bright, the obvious leader. Spectacular onstage, wonderful storyteller, but doubts himself. Very hesitant but all decisions turn out to be good.

Star: Dark, pessimistic girl. Any not-end-of-world-predictions, though told in vague riddles and puzzles, come true. Only make sense after they happen. Very fond of Daisy.

Royal: Nearly silent, everything he DOES say has high significance and truth to it.

Vivek: Meticulous, picky. Violent when angry, whacks people who offend her(him?) with a stick. generally fed up with Star, though she(he?) spends hours trying to figure out the riddles.

Erik: Lives for the fight. Spends leisure time singing to himself and sharpening dagger/sword in anticipation, or to threaten people who try to scam them. Not afraid of anything; except wolves/dogs.

Krista: Vain, but quiet. Very day-dreamy sort of girl, spends lots of her time sighing and saying random things that seem to have nothing to do with anything.

You need some more boys/men. Maybe throw in an older brother for Daisy? Hope this helped, I just sort of spouted things off the top of my head.

For The Prince of Dreams, I suggest Reve, the name means Dream in French, and is a very handsome name in my opinion.

Queen or Ladies-- Caroline, Bienvenida, Edina, Riva, Verena, Wysandra, Lucia, Bianca, Asteria,

King or Lords -- Bartram, Neckarios, Nizar,Ellis, Peregryn, Alaric, Zarek, Leron,

Noble Daughters-- Claudia, Emmalise, Darryl, Charisse, Remy, Quinellyn, Olympia, Ondine,

Noble Sons: Oslo, Chance, Lemuel, Kenneth, Kobey, Sachio, Torren, Ward, Enrique.

Traveling Player Females: Holly, Roxanne, Genevieve, Faun, Quincey, Savannah

Traveling Player Males: Finn, Ranger, Gresham, Andre, Walsh, Tancred, Lamonte.

Thieve and Bandit Females: Kiera, Dusty, Brooke, Tipper, Lucy, Tess, Arista, Mini, Zevline, Mia, Naomi, Connie, Sadie.

Thieve and Bandit Males: Donovan, Lorenzo, Nico, Jude, Tony, Jet, Rigby, Fitzy, Tad, Tobias, Malcom.

hmmmm, Villain names can be tricky. I'm trying to write a book myself, though I never had trouble with names for my evil character. (I called Elrius Vincent. alright, the Elrius i'm not so sure about, but he's generally reffered to as Vincent, or Master Vincent anyways. )
