Question about middle names By Kobylee 2 Years, 3 Months Ago Hi, I'm Koby, long time 'lurker', first time poster
I don't have any kids, and I'm not pregnant, but I'm looking forward to when that day comes, and think alot about names for my future children. I have a question about middle names, and just after a few opinions please. First let me give you a little background info. A few years ago, I was talking with a friend about about passing down your own names to your children. From my experience, it seems fairly common for boys to recieve their father's first name as their middle name, but not so much for girls (in my experience only). I was saying how I don't particularly love either of my names (first name Koby, middle name Lee) but if I had to, I would use a form of my name, rather than my name as is. This got me thinking, and I started to really like Rylee for a girl's middle name, with the Lee in Rylee coming from my middle name. A few years after first thinking this, I met my boyfriend who also happens to have Lee for his middle name (first name Shaun) and I liked the idea even more of using 'Lee' names even more. So my question is, do you think this is a good idea to use names incorporating Lee for a middle name for future children? And do you think I could do it for all future kids (different names, but all containing Lee), or do you think that's a bit much, and I should limit it to just one child? Also, can you help me with Lee names? I love Rylee, and Shaylee for girls, but I am stumped on boys names. Any suggestions would be greatfully recieved! Lastly, I should add that Shaun has a 3 year old son from a previous relationship. His name is Blake Shaun. If we were to go ahead and use middle names containing Lee for all future children, do you think Blake would feel left out? He has his Dad's name for a middle name, so he still has that family connection, but I don't want him to feel jealous or left out. Sorry this took so long. I appreciate any opinions and suggestions

Re:Question about middle names By TaylorElizabeth 2 Years, 3 Months Ago I think it would be cute for one child, but for all of them?
I think that's over the top, haha. Blake might feel left out, but then again he might not. You could just tell him that he has his daddy's first name as a middle name so he's unique. If you decide to go through with all those "Lee's then good luck.

Re:Question about middle names By Jennika 2 Years, 3 Months Ago I agree with Taylor Elizabeth. Naming all of them names with "lee" in it might be a little much. But I see nothing wrong with one name with "lee" in it. Most "lee" names are really cute!
As for his son feeling left out, I really don't think you would have to worry about that because kids don't usually think about that kind of stuff. And especially since he's already named after his dad it probably won't be a big deal. Good luck with whatever you decide!

Re:Question about middle names By Bexie_08 2 Years, 3 Months Ago I don't think it is a bad thing to use Lee in all the middle names. You could use diff forms of it in eact so it isn't to much (Lee, Leigh, Lea) or diff ways (Leeann, Marleena, Kylee).
For a boy, what about Kolee (after you), Shaulee (after him), Ridlee, Cheslee, Kingslee, Harlee, Ollee, Bradlee, or Bentlee.

Re:Question about middle names By SHeff 2 Years, 3 Months Ago I think that if you name all of them w/ some form of Lee it would be over the top. But maybe you could incorporate Lee in one, maybe do Shaun in another and Koby in another...for instance maybe do:
Kolby or Kolbee Shauna or Shaunie Leeanne or Rylee

Re:Question about middle names By Kobylee 2 Years, 3 Months Ago Thanks everyone who took the time to comment. I know I have plenty of time to worry about this, but it's nice to hear others opinions.
I really like Bexie_08's suggestion of using the Lee in different places in the name, rather than always at the end. I think it seems a little less 'over the top' that way Good to hear most people think it wont be a problem with Blake. Thanks also for the name suggestions Bexie_08, I really like Ridlee, Kingslee and Bentlee.
