My husband and I have a 3 year old daughter named Autumn Brooke. We love the name and most everyone else does too.Now that I am pregnant my husband feels very strong about naming the next girl Summer Dawn. I dont wan them to get teased, is this cute or tacky? Id like to know what you think, please.

They would certainly not get teased! The only reason I can see for them being teased is their original names and beautiful names their parents have blessed them with!

Summer is gorgeous - a real uplifting name. For some reason, it makes me think of all the good things in life!
Dawn - not good as a first name, LOVELY as a middle name!

I love both names, but what if you have a third. Are you going to stick with the theme and go with Winter or are you going to leave number 3 the odd one out? What if it is a boy? I do think it has the potential for teasing (heck, any name does) but mostly the harmless kind (Are you waiting for Spring to get here? and Autumn, don't fall!).

I was kind of thinking that too. But if they DO have a third, April or May would work, in place of spring. And in the event of a fourth... um... I'll get back to you on that. And for a boy, even though this is IN Summer/Fall, maybe August?
