Right now i'd stay away from belle names, alot of people will think belle - bella - twilight. (and any good author probably doesn't want they're affiliated with that writing/character.

It's okay to have a couple of characters with similiar names, just try not to have them similiar if they're really rare/unusual names where one hasn't been named after the other.

I'm really bad with last names, maybe just look aroun at some common italian last names, or some of your favourite italian celebs?

One of my character's last names is Galiardi...is that Italian???
