Hi!

I was wondering if anyone speaks a language other than English?

I'm learning French at school because when I grow up I plan on living in France. I am teaching myself Italian at home and it's quite hard and I don't always have the motivation...plus I'm just learning it through a free email course...

Also if you have learned multiple languages do you have any suggestions about learning them???

I speak French & English. I went to French school all my life. (Currently living in Quebec, mostly french)

I also know a bit of German, and a bit of Italian.

My suggestions would just be, take your time and learn it at your own pace, rushing it will only make it harder. And remember, Practice makes perfect!

I'm only learning spanish in school, I only have one more year of it. But two of my friends are Russian and they learned English when they started school, and now they are also learning Spanish, so they're gonna be Tri-lingual! I would try and set a certain time to focus on it each day and make sure you really understand what your learning. Good luck!

Thanks! I think it is easy to learn a language in school, when there is a set time you have to work on it, activities to practice, and tests to check your work, but on your own it is entirely different!

Also, AshleyMichelleMC would you be willing to pm me some French to dee how much I have actually retained from last year and this year?
