I agree with what many of the others have said. When I named my two children (one son, Benjamin and a daughter, Savannah) I went with names that were not to "out there". Also, I wanted to make sure that it would be a name that as a child I would be o.k. with. I also look for the meaning in names. Benjamin is of course biblical and also sounds great w/his middle name which is a family name. Savannah was picked out by my husband and we thought it just sounded beautiful as a name then we added Grace as her middle name. There again giving her a bibilical name.
Make sure that when you name your child that it is not something that will end up getting them teased.

my tip for naming ur kids is ti write down their initials as word.... u might b surprised what comes out...
my parents failed to do this and as a result my initials are S.L.V.T. now i dot know about u but to me that looks like "slut" and we didnt figure it out till i was like 13 years old, so yeah that would b my tip.....

i thought of this tip the other day...go to www.imdb.com and type in your favourite movie and have a look at the characters names or actors names and see if you get inspiration

One of the trick my parents did was make a list of names, and then after they had the baby. They would say the name to the bsby and which ever one teh baby responding happily with.That what they name it!
