Help I want a beatiful Native American name By N8VLUVA 6 Months, 2 Weeks Ago Please help I am wanting a beatiful Native American name with a good meaning. My husband is Native American and I am Irish/Welsh/Native American so I would love our new little one ot have a strong beatiful Native American name any suggestions would be aprreciated. We don't know if it is a boy or girl yet

Congratulations! I think that is a lovely way to honor both heritages. However, each of you should really know the specific Indian Tribes you are connected to, as that makes a significant difference in the names and their meanings. Family records,on both sides, may also give you an inspiration for a name. I do know that using a Tribe name, such as Cheyenne, Dakota, etc. is viewed as disrespectful. Good luck, Nonny
